Hello sir/madam
I'm a boy and my left thumb has been cut and i got stitches ,when I'm 4yrs old . now I'm pursuing M.com ,and the faculty needs my left thumb impression for some registration process . can I give my right thumb impression instead of left ,is there any restrictions .

You can put the impression of thumb whatever you have.
or Get permission to use RTI from Registrar.

Give your left hand thumb impression.
If desired and required let the authority write to you for anything else.
Let it be on records, properly.

In some acts, the thumb impression is not possible for any reason, then the left index finger will be taken. so request them to take left index finger for impression.

When the faculty does not have any objection to your improper or imperfect left hand thumb impression, why do you hesitate to provide your left hand thumb impression?
By the way, what is the specific objection of the faculty to take your right hand thumb impression?
