HELLO!
IN 2005 A BUILDER HAD FILED A FALSE[private] CASE OF CHEATING U/S 420 N breach of trust AGAINST A FLAT OWNER WITH mere motive TO PUT PRESSURE n harrass THE FLAT OWNER[ ALLEGED ACCUSED] because THE FLAT WAS SOLD TO MORE THAN ONE PERSON.
THE LOWER COURT DISMISSED THE PETITION in july 2011 SINCE BOTH THE COMPLAINANT, WITNESSES N THE LAWYER WERE NOT PRESENT DURING THE LAST 7 YRS after the chargesheet was filed.
3] THE CASE WAS DISMISSED IN JULY 2011.
nb: i would like to know a] what action can i take against the builder[complainant] b] what is the time limit to file a case against him ] c] under what section [criminal/civil] can i book the builder for his wrong doings. d] is it worth filing a defamation case against the builder e] if there is any other alternative where i bring the builder to task.
pls advice and help me to get justice.is it advisable and worth filing ascase agnst the builder n the witnesses.

For defamation,limitation is 3 years.
