go to the concerning district magistrate office in which district you blong and apply for the succession cerificate with summiting your father'sdath certificate,
then they will issue succ.certificate,which willhelp you to claim theshare in demat account.

You can get the shares in your name by way of transmission. You have to prove to the company that you are the legal heir of your father then you have to get the succession certificate from the Judicial Magistrate. You have to submit these with the Depository Participant who will then present those to the Registrar or Company and then the instruction will be given to the Depository and you have to open your DEMAT account in which shares will be transmitted.

who issues legal heir certificate, what are the procedure & document required for legal heir certificate, do i have to pay government stamp, i am muslim & we are two brother and one sister, please help

Issuing authority of legal heir certificate may be different from state to state. Most probably , Thashildar of the concerned taluk.

i am staying in gujarat, advocate is saying we should file affidavit for succ., there after it will be submitted to court, court will give advertisement in paper to confirm that there are no more person to claim paper, thereafter they will give succ. certificate, please help
