sir, i tanveer from aurangabad mh , my father expired year ago and on his name having agriculture land , we are 2brother and 1 sister. mother .so how to obtain legal heir ship from court to get our names in 7/12, of agri land ,

Legal heir certificate will be issued by the Tehasildar of your area.
For this you have to submit an application indicating the names of all those legal heirs who have been left behind by the deceased. Against each of the name, their age, gender, their relationship with the deceased etc. need to be mentioned.
The original death certificate is also required to be attached.
After receipt of the application, the Tehasildar will take steps to conduct verification and then will issue the Legal Heir certificate.
Therefore please visit your Tehasildar's office and make further enquiries.
There is no cost involved. Even if there is some expense it will be very minimum and nominal.

Apply to the tehsildar to effect the mutation of the land in the name of legal heirs of the deceased.

Inquire from Patwari.
The patwari may agree to enter names by death certificate and affidavit of heirship and in such case patwari may obtain approval of tehsildar.
Meet the patwari or obtain heirship certificate from tehsildar.
