(Querist) 12 March 2014 This query is : Resolved
A daughter in law is torturing and harassing all her in laws , she is living separately on rent with her husband and a one year old son. This is a love marriage parents of the boy were not aware initially but after marriage when these thing come into their knowledge they gave a complaint to the local police station that now they have no relation with their son and his wife and they cannot be allowed to enter in their house. The daughter in law pressurised her inlaws in many ways to allow them all to stay in the same hose. She also pressurized her husband to ask for partition in the property.

Q The lady even did not allow her husband to touch her son most of the time she send her son to her mother without asking her husband .

who is the owner of flat ? if parents are owners of flat they can file suit for eviction against son and daughter in law . it is duty of husband to maintain his wife .

if wife files for divorce husband can claim viaitation rights for son . custody will generally go to mother

If she lodge any FIR or criminal case against husband or in-laws they have to defend themselves.

Mother can start domestic violence case against son's wife.

Parents normally can not disown their son.

Husband cannot get custody of minor child in general, he can get the visitation rights.
