Transfer from psu to central govt job

Hello Sir,
I am working in a PSU as class 1 officer. I want a transfer in a central govt unit under the same department. Is there any rule that this transfer is not possible? Please inform me sir.

Are you on deputation in PSU or a permanent employee of the PSU?

Further more, in PSU the question of being a Class-I Officer does not arise. PSUs only have different grades of Executives like E-I, E-2 etc.
