Is it legal for government employee in karnataka to transfer her when she is in maternity leave?

In normal course, no such transfer is ordered.But, in case the post she held is abolished or lapsed, alternative post to be allotted while rejoining.

If you are a permanent employee, you may not be transferred except in exigencies.

As per your query can any other employee be replaced to the post of the employee who is on a long maternity leave.
In order to continue the government machinery function as usual, the authority may appoint another person to that post on temporary basis or on any other basis as the competent authority may decide.
Since the employee on maternity leave has not been transferred, there is no grievance caused to the employee by this act of the authority concerned.

No sir no query raised, there is a lady officer in karnataka, its a general transfer season so the lady is on maternity leave but the government had transfered another person to that place, but the lady officer has not shown any place, so is it legal to do it so? Even her husband is also same cadre officer and he has not been transfered, now because of no reporting place the lady cannot opt for benefits of maternity leave such as pay.
