Respected Sir/Madam,
I recently bought/purchased a residential house property through registered sale deed in West Bengal.
After a couple of weeks the seller heard from somewhere that his property might have fetched him more value (if he had sold it to any other person) than he actually received from me.
Due to his hunger for money, I heard that he may file a case against me, of fraud and then try to take back the property.
I would like to ask that, is it possible ? And, what are my rights over my purchased property after a registered sale deed.
Please, reply.
Thanking in advance.

Do not worry. If you have paid him all the considerations amount and got the sale deed registered then it would be mighty impossible to take it back.

Thank you sir, for your consolation and I would say that I have paid him the full considerations amount and got the sale deed registered in the sub-registrar office and had also paid the requisite stamp duty and registration charges, etc.
