The purchases done by me a bottle of oregano which had paper slip pasted against MRP which depicted Rs. 85/- and another paper slip pasted against Net Wt stated 30 GMS and bill was purportedly issued by departmental store. On returning home when inadvertently the paper slips were removed it was revealed that actual MRP written on the bottle of oregano was Rs. 35/-(inclusive of all taxes) and Net Wt. was actually 10 Grams only while I was charged RS. 75/- for 30 grams of oregano . A legal notice was sent to both departmental store and the manufacturer of oregano but a reply was received by departmental store that such slips were pasted by the manufacturer. Also, the legal notice to manufacturer was returned with remark that the company (manufacturer) does not exist. What remedy do I have? Can I write a complaint to office of S.S.P./ Legal Meteorology department/Food Supplies or Drugs Department?
