Union psc's appointments

what is the methods in the offices under the central govt.to inform union psc about the vacancies?

How made the appointments in vacancies of offices like Norka under the Central Govt.

The department intimates to the UPSC:-

(1)name of post
(2)no & date (actual or expected) of vacancy
(3) reservation satus of each vacancy.
(4) recruitment rules of the post
(5) In case of promotion certificate of circulation of seniority list , eligibility list, integrity certificate, vigilance clearance and CRD of each candidate.


In case of DR the deptt on receipt of nomination from UPSC stars recruitment process.

In case of promotion the deptt on receipt of nomination from UPSC issues promotion list and promotes the perspon as and when vacancy arises.

when the department intimates upsc then how many vacancies had there.(minimum vacancies for intimation)?the period of time to intimates to upsc? is Norka office under the central govt.,or cuncurrent list? what is the methods for the temporary appointments in Norka?

one of my friend is worked as receptionist(temporary post) in Norka's trivandrum office,(Kerala). she is entered in this post by Ministry level Recommendation.many posts are vacant there,and many persons temporarily appointed that posts.Now some Temporary employees went to Kerala High Court for an Order for permanent appointment.So that the problem is knew the public.some people going to legal way for fill the vacant posts under the lawful recruitment process.she was appointed in that post before 2 years.she fearing about the lost of her job.please give me a direction for her.

even in the present query you are not clear of the facts.

You probably need to understand the difference between "temporary" and "ad-hoc" employee.


Temporary employees is the one who is duly selected against an advertisement (not on Ministerial recommendation, following entire procedure, on a post existing, as per reservation roaster. Such employee is on Probation and remains temporary during probation. The service as Ty employees counts in pension.

Ad-hoc employee does not exist anywhere in deptt except pay roll and is not even on probation. The length of service as two years is irrelevant. They have only one right not to be replaced by another ad-hoc


Your friend does not appear to be duly appointed and mere allowed to draw salary based on Ministry level recommendations. You are aggrieved as you explained "problem is knew the public.some people going to legal way for fill the vacant posts under the lawful recruitment process"
