Dear Experts,
Does an unmarried daughter has sole right on dead mother's jewellery?

Hindu woman dying intestate namely without making a Will, her entire property will be inherited by all her sons, daughters and husband in equal proportion.
Son and daughter married or unmarried hardly matters each will get one share each.
The jewelry of the married woman namely the mother goes to all in equal proportion, it's not that all her jewelry will go to unmarried daughter only.

It is to be distributed equally amongst all legal representatives of deceased, if she died intestate.

Thank you so much respected experts.
Real issue is like this. My grandmother died without making any will. My father being eldest gave each sibling (total 6 nos.) his/her share of jewellery. Also made
made a flat in the name of one of my uncle. My unmarried aunt and uncle stay in this flat. All of a sudden they (my aunt and uncle) filed a complaint in magarashtra rajya mahila ayog, that my father has possession of jewellery of my aunt's share.
My father is 20 years older than this aunt has taken care of her and other siblings from the first day he started to earn.
Believe it or not.this is the real story.
Today he went to the hearing at maharsashtra rajya mahila aayog and lady there threatend him (he is 68 years old senior citizen) to return the jewellery as its her 'stridhan'.
Please guide me to tackel this situation

The Mahila Ayog is fact finding body. It has no power to initiate action anyone.
