Urgent enquiry regarding enrollment

Sir i am from west bengal .I have qualified llb from magadh university .if i take the enrollment from bihar state can i practice in any court in west bengal state without transferring the enrollment? Actually due to some university problem i didnot get my college registration card which is mandatory to submit for enrollment in west bengal.

You can primarily practice in any court in the state where you enroll yourself as an advocate with the state's Bar Council. But you have also the extended right to practice anywhere else in India by using this state registration by following some procedural requirements.
If you want to practice in any other Indian court outside your statewhere you enrolled as an advocate, you will have to do it along with someone who is known to that court from the state registry.
This restriction is imposed just because yours is a state registration despite your area of practice is countrywide.

Sir I know the local advocate in the court of west Bengal..as I want to know just may I practice in any court of West Bengal with Bihar enrollment no???

As already advised, you can definitely practice in West Bengal but only having the signature of local lawyer on the vakalatnama.

No problem in practicing in any Court, Tribunal, Commission and/or authority in India except regular practice at parent Bar Council i.e., Bihar in your case.

It is correct that my view was based upon pre-amendment in section 30 of Advocates Act, 1961 but the words which my brother NJS used are definitely praiseworthy. Amendment was brought in the Act during the Law Ministership of Mr. Veerappa Moily.

Yes you can practice in the entire Bihar state as per your desire besides, you can practice at Wet Bengal too.
