My Neighbours who are very nice peple are trapped in 498a by their evil cruel DIL, and unable to tolerate the stress and harassment my aunt attempted sucide by taking sleeping pills.
Query:- Can they file a abetment to sucide case against their DIL

yes, they can file, if the FIL has expired.
306. Abetment of suicide.-- If any person commits suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.

How on earth your aunt commits suicide for a 498A case done by your neighbour?
This is something weird and unbelievable.
I an case no case for abetment of suicide lies.

I call my neighbor as aunt rather MrsXXXX,
Just to clarify, by god 's grace she was rushed to hospital on time and saved by docs.

Properly answered by the experts above. If the neighbor aunt foolishly commits or attempts suicide at this age, no power on the earth can save her in the future from doing so again over any other trivial issues so better be away from her.
