i have filled a case in court couple of days back against my husdand u/s 498,120,406,420 etc. n my statment date is 10 sept. but today i recieved a call from my local police station that my husband has given some complaint application so i asked to visit ssp headquators tomorrow.
my husband has married married to some other lady without divorced with me and left me and my son alone by saying that he is going abroad.
kindly tell me wat should i do.

Since you are the complainant there is no harm if you visit the police station.
So go so that we may know the purpose of the calling.

your husband has committed bigamy . he knows he will be in serious trouble as you have filed complaint aginst him . inorder to pressurise you he has sought to file counter complaint to pressurise you .

rightly advised by my friends, if you husband has remarried without giving divorce to you then slap another Section 494 IPC upon him...compel the authorities to stop him from going abroad.
since you filed a case in the court....you may give application to the court for denial of bail to him so that he can not go abroad.

Yes. Nothing more to add.. But i think your earlier complaint does not include the second marriage allegation. If yes mean just file it.. Just give a complaint with the same police, and ask them to altered the section 494. No need for fresh fir
