Sir,
My passport was made when I was a minor and renewed once when also I was a minor (16 yrs). Now I am 27 and my PP has expired, which I want to get renewed.
My problem is that my DOB in PP is 15 Jan 86, which is my correct DOB and a Birth Certificate was submitted at the time of getting the PP made. But in all my school certificates and 10th std mark-sheet, the DOB is 15 May 86.
Can I get the DOB in my passport changed as per my school records and if yes, how? Will it have any legal implication on me or my parents? Thanks for your kind reply.

Passports are no strictly prepared on the basis of actual date of birth duly obtained through the office of Registrar of Birth & Death so don't try as desired by you.

the passport officers and the rules rely more on ssc cert. as proof of correct name and date of birth.
