Using cancelled Voter Card as Age Proof and I.D. ????

I have a voter card of an address which has been abandoned by me long ago,on checking voter card helpline and website,I found that this voter card has been declared non-functional.I do not have any other document to prove my age and identity,can I use this voter card as my age proof and I.D., which I still possess in original????

1. how a voter idendity card can be abonded?

2. is any expired date on that voter idendity.?

2. that is idendity card isuued by our govt.. its a valid card till your end..
[i thing so.. you may be clarify it with some more experts.. if i wrong mean sorry]

Mr tom,suppose U have been issued a voter card on a particular address,now you leave that address,voter card officers come and check ,U are not available there,Ur vote is cancelled on that address and Ur voter card is also cancelled,this happens every day,hope I am clearer..

yes you are clear only.. but that much easyly govt will not cancelled your voter card.. may be its cancelled while the next time voter's verification.. at the time how ever you have to apply for new voter's list.. now am i clear friend?

The use of such a card which has been declared non functional by the appropriate authority of the government will amount to clandestine and improper use which may lead to penalties even. So be careful.
