Hello.
My question: My address in my gas connection card is incomplete, and to correct it the gas agency wants a document containing the complete address. For that purpose, I have my deceased father's sale deed(containing the full address)for the house where I live and which I want to use as my address. Can I use my deceased father's sale deed as proof of the full address for correcting the address on my gas card? And can I then use the gas card as address proof for my passport?
Thanks in advance.

The address found in the sale deed is of your father address and not yours.
You transfer the property to your name through revenue department and then submit the property documents as proof of your address provided you are residing in that place.
