validity of attested affidavit

Sir in a civil suit an affidavit u/o 18 rule 4 was attested in December 2014.can it be tendered on next date of hearing in august 2015?

Yes, it can be tendered, however, did you file the affidavit in the intervening period?

no, it cannot be filed in court as its validity is only 6 months and thus file fresh affidavit.

Sir as copy of affidavit was being given to counsel of defendant in DEC 2014 and when we file a fresh affidavit in august 2015.Is this be legally sustainable?
