Validity of unused stamp papers

Dear Sirs/Madams
I purchased stamp papers worth around 2.5 lakhs for purpose of conveyance deed and thereafter registration in name of third party to whom I wish to sell the flat at Gurgaon. Due to one document being missing, i could not carryout the operation and use the stamp papers. The stamp papers are lying blank and 6 months period is going to be over. I would get that missing document soon but 6 months wud be over. I still need the stamp papers for same deal and dont need any refund. Pl advise if the stamp papers wud be useable after 6 months. The Wakil Saab at Gurgaon states that after 6 months, he will TRY to use these stamp papers. I fear losing 2.5 lakhs.
