Value of stamp paper required for drafting agreement

Professional colleagues
Can anyone guide me what is the Value of Stamp Paper required for drafting an manpower supply agreement.

A) It is in West Bengal. And West Bengal Stamp Act Sch 1A Clause 5(e) states Rs.10/-..

B) But one of my colleague advice that the stamp duty will depend on the value of the agreement and according to his logic the value will be the amount spend by the manpower supply company for supplying its manpower to our company.
Which one is right A) or B).

Stamp duty differs from State to State, however, it is Rs. 50/- in Delhi. Consult local lawyer for stamp duty in West Bengal.

1. There is no stamp duty levy'able monetary consideration or valuation involved in "Manpower Supply" Agreement.

2. Hence the basic Stamp Duty is to be paid and Registration MUST be conducted for the agreement to be legally enforceable, during times of dispute in court.

Standard Stamp Value would be Rs 100/- to execute such agreements.

If the "Manpower Supply Agreement" is executed between the Government (either state or central) and Manpower Supply Agency, there is no stamp duty. Otherwise, it is a maximum of Rs.100/-.

However, once again advised to contact local lawyer before proceeding.
