We are owners in a residential complex of 100 flats. Have 2 (of 5) housekeeping maids working last 12 years on a temporary basis. New management has terminated them. Are they eligible for any compensation, as they have been treated only as TEMPORARY workers ?
Rule does not prevent voluntarily giving of compensation by society.

Temporary workman has no lien against their post but society is free to compensate them.

Better to approach the issue with some humanity if they are not under any faults.

Some of us (residents) feel that these 2 poor laborers were cheated because, they have worked for 12 years continuously and their names are there on the weekly wages sheet for 12 years. Is it not depriving them of their rights, to keep them work without Bonus, PF etc . Can they approach labour court ( through one of you) and what are the chances to get them compensation..Regards
