sir,
i am working at UAE.i have to respond to a civil case in kerala.how can a authorise a an advocate for me?how can i execute vakalatnama from here?what is its procedure?

You can send a vakalatnama signe from USE through post.

Sign the Vakalatnama and send it to India. Your lawyer would submit it on your behalf.

Send vakalatnama duly signed by you,to your lawyer in india and he will submit he same in court on your behalf.

You have to execute the Vakkalath by making your signature in the presence of Indian Consulate/Embassy officer concerned and obtain the Consulate seal to that effect and send back to your advocate so as to file the same before the Court in India.

I go with the views of expert Advocate Ms. Saleema Kabeer in this regard. A vakalatnama executed in a foreign soil to be attested and authenticated by competent Indian authority present in that soil.
