Dear members,
My Tejashwini and i'm a qualified Chartered Acountant. Now i would like to pursue a course in law so that i can present the Income tax cases . I please require advice/guidance in this aspect.

since u r already CA, u ve got enough of the rights to present the income tax cases, though u may not present the same in the court of law.
u do a regular degree course in LL.B to attain professional lawyers license from the Bar Council.
mere a diploma or non professional course wont allow u appear in the court of law for the purposes of presentation of cases in the court.
m leaving this query open so that some tax expert may advice u on the rules in this context.

which state?
if you are in Andhra Prades , there are number of Private colleges are here to admit in LLB course part time and full time. you may complete with in Three years. If you inform your place of lving i can suggest a good college or school of correspondence course for your convenience.

States provides differnt evening courses, distance education courses. Join in any of the courses. An LL.B is sufficient for enrolling as an Advocate. State your State.

Dear Ms.Tejashwini, in order to appear before the court of law you will have to complete a three year or five year regular LL.B from a recognised University.
Since you are working as a C.A. it will not be possible for you practically to pursue the regular courses. As now a days the part time or evening classes are not recognised for registration as Advocate from the Bar Council of India.In case you inform about you place of residence and practice I can suggest some of the institution which will admit you as a regular students. But you will not have to go for regular classes. You will only require to appear in the Examination.
