Want to retreive my property

A freind of mine wants to get back his land in bihar which his uncle has sold unlawfully.The matter goes like this.his grandfather distributed his land verbally before panchyat between his two sons in the year 1970.One of the sons was his father.After that his uncle sold off part of his fathers land without informing his father.Now both his uncle and his father is not alive.His grandfather also died in 1992.Now his uncles elder son has also sold off his fathers share of land.
now the problem is my fried has no document.Where from will he get those documents and under what sections can he lodge case so as to get back his fathers share of land which his uncle as well as his uncles son has sold unlawfully.

when was the land sold? was the property still standing in name of your grandfather at time of sale?

who has the original documents of said land?

contact a local lawyer . obtain certified copy of land records.

you will have to move court for setting aside sale of land

First of all, get the land ecords fron the revenue department. Then appoint an advocate to handle the issue.
