Respected Experts, I have booked two flats in my hometown, my builder is asking "Do you want two water connections or one?". So what shall i do? Shall I take two connections or one, and if i take two then what are the charges that will occur on later? Is there any law stating that builder is responsible for providing water connections to the flat owners?

Not a legal problem. Ask from the concerned water supply/ public health authority department.

If the two flats are separated and in future point of view , if you want to give on rent or keep your close relatives, it is better to have two connections irrespective of burden of charges.
