Hi, pl. discuss how to improve crime detention & investigation in our Country?
Many times I found that Police officers are not interested in investigation of criminal cases\ complaints. This task is considered as most cumbersome in Police. Might be because the investigating officer has to do lot of work, he might be good in investigation but might not be getiing equivalent help from Govt. Pleader. U all know the class of average Govt Pleader. So result is that case is not prepared with that much quality & content. Many times for such things and when the advocate of accused is powerful or influensive enough, Judges goes on to insult the Police Officers who has to take blame of all. He has to attend the Court every time whenever the case is to be heard etc. which is additional punishment. In these circumstances, how a policeman get encouragement to properly investigate and put the case to its logical conclusion. Govt. is not keen to implement the POlice Reforms as asked by SC.
Most of you are lawyers but first are Indian. What we can do to improve these circumstances by using the existing non-functional system?

It seems that the image of lawyers is like anti-national element in your eyes. Indian lawyer means a nationalist person having vast legal knowledge for the upliftment of India.
We all are also concerned with the ongoing ineffective legal system. There are various reasons which are responsible for this. Some relate to Government, some other relate to police system, some relate to Advocates, some to judiciary and all relate to society as a whole. If society become pure, whole thing shall remain pure and no one shall have such time to blame system.

If sincerety is imbibed to the core on the part of everyone, crime detection (not detention) and investigation is possible in the right way.

Thanx all for reply. Pl. excuse for typography gramatical (blunder) errors. Sir, I know that it was the Lawyers Community who bring independence to this Country led by (Barrister?) M. K. Gandhi. We may not change the Society, but can make efforts to improve the legal system of which we are part. I will be highly oblige if you rather give your valueble opinions on the core issues that affects the detection and investigation. As my collegaues intends to file a PIL in this subject at a later stage. So, all actively practicing criminal lawyers, pl. submit your valuable opinions in this regard based on core issues and its solutions.
