what is 7/12 extract?

If there is a property of 250 sq yards and I am bequeath 150sq yards by the registered will of my mother, then, can I get my area of the property mutated in my name? My sister is not ready to get the property mutated as she is trying for adverse possession of some of my area. There is no case pending anywhere regarding our property.

Mutation can be done on the basis of the will executed by your father.

Yes. Mutation can be sanctioned on the basis of a will in your favour executed by your mother.

Yes Khaleel Ahmed Sir is right Mutation can be done on the basis of the will executed by your father for this you know that any change occurred in No.6 Extract then it is duty on Talaty/Any related officer the change of the nominee must write in 7/12 Extract of the Property therefore you should first check the No.6 Extract and put your name on it as per the procedure require for this.
