a man residing in alwar goes to in law residing in other city [delhi],they cofined him and demanded 10 lac for release from his father.later on he was got released by alwar police , can in laws be tried in alwar,if yes under what section of law

1) How the Alwar police came in to picture when the incident occured in Delhi?

2) What Alwar police is doing in this matter, when the person was got released by Alwar Police?

as crime is committed in delhi so they will be tried in delhi only.

Whether any crime was registered by the Alwar Police while going for the release. Whether police at Delhi was informed / taken in confidence by the Alwar Police before such action. If, yes, Delhi Police can register a case on the basis of information received from Alwar Police.
