What is the procedure for changing name in Guajrat.Fee for application in Gazette?

The procedure is you need to fill in the application provided to you from the Official Gazette office. Need to notarise the application and submit the same to the office. It will be published in the official gazette. You will provided with 7 copies which you can use it for your reference and purposes. The fee is very nominal and as I belong to Tamil Nadu, I am not aware of the fee charged in Gujarat.

U have to sworn an affidavit before the notary and publish the matter in the local news paper regarding the change of name. U have to submit before the Concerned dept., to get it publish in the Gazette.
In my state Karnataka it is not so easy to change the name. After the increase in the terriorist activities Karnataka Govt., has directed to get it dedlared from the Civil Court.
