What is to be done once plaintiff files evidence

(Querist) 04 April 2015 This query is : Resolved
This is a rent related case, i am the Defendant (tenant). Plaintiff (owner) has recently filed evidence to the court and next hearing date is given. I have to appoint a new lawyer, can you please help me understanding a few queries in meanwhile:

1. What is the next step, do i need to file my(defendant's) evidence document?
2. I see some of the evidences by Plaintiff is for very past date in comparison to when the case was filed. So can i ask my lawyer to object on those evidences? In issue framing it was mentioned to consider occupancy for 6 months time span.

Please guide. Thank you.

if you want to appoint a new lawyer do so before next date . take NOC of your advocate on record . your lawyer will have to cross examine Plaintiff

If you want to change the lawyer, change it and proceed in the case with new lawyer.

Thank you Mr. Ajay & Rajendra.
I have taken NOC of my current lawyer, but might take some time to find a new one. So can i ask court to give some time in next hearing date?
And if I have some concerns in Plaintiff's evidence & affidavit statements, can i raise those when the new layer is on record or i need to do it anyhow on next hearing date or I cannot object evidences at all. I am not aware of this, can you please suggest.

This is improper and unfit query to be posted on this platform since we are unable to give spoon-feeding to litigants.
It is sheer abuse of the facility/social service.

Resp. sir Vashista, I dont why you feel that way, but its a genuine query from layman's like me, & i have seen personally & through others queries that all the experts here try to help people. And this more than appreciated & respected.
But if you still feel the same, my apologies.

Dear Author, if you feel certain evidences (exhibits) being marked by plaintiff during his evidence are objectionable, you can very well register your objections to it and the same will be recorded. Fro cross examination you can always seek time. Please make sure that you do not make queries on the day to day issues here in this portal because the situation keeps changing and your will not find a solution to all of them till the end.

Thank you Mr. Kalaiselvan for answering my doubts/queries. Really appreciate it.
I do understand the concern, and will take care of it from next time.
