On a date when Magistrate is on leave and no reliever is arranged who is delegated in that court to give next date and based on which parameters? Is there a procedures that information is to be made available to those accused, witnesses etc so that they are not unnecessarily inconvenienced?

Court ever tried to made available those information?? even though majority of courts are in internet link, and can easily inform it to litigants?
They also give outdated information on Case status & next dates.
If court inform Vacant Courts, lots of mandays be saved,
Ans is "NO" courts do not.
Haridasji, i understand u look at PIL, so this is a valid Lacuna of Court Proceedings and a favourable Order is possible. , if PIL raised.

Dear Haridas
There is no rule for fix the date and no parameter, if the court on leave then the reader gives the next date on his will or with consent of the advoactes.
it is in practical life not theorical.
an application under RTI can be filed on this question.
feel free to call

Till I reached the age of 54 and retired on superannuation believe in me I never ever had an chance to visit any court of our beloved country called Bharat.Post retirement I first tasted its essence as the Malgudi's COMMON MAN. And within 30 months post retirement I had to visit one of such temples of Goddess of Law more than 15 times as I refused engage an Advocate and was presenting myself as person in private or something like that.
I am enlightened(!!!!!????). And extremely unhappy that I dedicated my prime life for this circus of life.Don't take me otherwise but the advocates as a community( Law Officers of the Court) has also failed us miserably along with those IAS.COM(STEALFRAME)and those CA.COM( The Chartered Miss-Accountants).
I sincerely appeal to the Experts in this forum to rise and awaken the country of ours , roti, kapda and makans are ensured.

I suggest you to visit different courts personally and find out the proceedings on your own.
Experience is the best teacher.
