Where to complain against advocate who deceived me.

I approached an advocate in a civil matter and explained my issue which i have been facing. Thereafter i paid 20000 to file civil case. But it has been one year, no case was filed and he says he need some more time to pursue with that matter. I want to complaint against him but dont know how and where. Guide m pls

Have you been cheated? Is there deficient service on the part of Advocate? had you been induced to pay him the money? If you can prove this, you can file a complaint in Bar Council of your State u/s 35 of Advocate Act. You can go to consumer forum also. You can file a criminal case of criminal breach of trust or cheating also. You can file a civil suite for realisation of money also. If there is will there is way.
