Dear all
My wife first lodged a complaint in women cell against me and my family.
The complaint was the old story of dowry demands And domestic violence.
In first meeting she said that i want to live alone with husband to which i did'nt agree .
Second meeting she said ahe is ready to move and i said that give this in written that all complaints are false and i will take you back.
Now third meeting was today and she said that i dont want to live with him and want a divorce and i said i still want to live with you and next date is given .
Now the question is how to handle this , shall i tell her first to withdraw the complaints and then we will go for mutual divorce or is there any other way out ,
No case is being filed in court .

Yes, it is better to compromise the dispute by filing MCD.
But before that she will have to withdraw the complaint or any other complaint lodged before any public authority.

She has also filed some police complaints that i tried to hit her during this and that date , but no action was taken against it, so is it important to withdraw or file application against those complaints.
And after divorce can i sue her for defamation and forgery

If you are going for MCD, you can not later file any case on the event happened prior to its filing.
Yes, let her withdraw all complaints whether action is taken on its basis or not.

You should try for mutual consent divorce by amicable settlement of issues.
You have been coming with different situations. In one of your query you stated that your wife alleged forced abortion and in other query with different story. Better post your subsequent query in same thread so that fruitful reply can be given.

Why do you repeat the queries in different form, why dont you follow the same thread to enable the experts to give a proper opinion?; A mutual consent divorce will be a better option in order to multiplicity of cases against you. First ask her to withdraw her complaint pending with the police and then sign the MCD papers.
