A will is a voluntary desire of a person to dispose of his/her property in a manner he/she likes, law does not impose any restriction on that.

As long as the property you are bequeathing belongs to you, there is no limit as to whom you give away your property by will.

The testator can dispose his/her estate/property by a valid WILL…………in favor of grandchildren staying aboard…………….or any of the legal heirs or anyone including stranger staying anywhere in India or abroad…………… The last wish of testator in valid WILL is supreme…. IT is better to register the WILL…………….although it is not mandatory.

Well advised by experts, I agree; you can execute your will in favour of your grandchildren or anyone even if s/he (they) is/are a foreign citizen(s).
