Will

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 20 November 2011 This query is : Resolved
Does the new judgement on GPA/SA ruled out by supreme court Conveys that hence forth all the Wills that are to be made needs to be compulsorily registered.
Shailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 20 November 2011
Judgement doesn't say so.

Registration of WILL is optional before judgement as well as after judgement.
Arun Kumar Bhagat (Expert) 20 November 2011
GPA/SA and Will are different. Registration of Will is optional. A registered Will gets more authenticity than unregistered one.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 20 November 2011
Definitely not, it only made clear certain actions with mala fide intentions like avoiding stamp duties etc on the basis of GPAs.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 20 November 2011
No! it is not so.Will continues to enjoy its
liberty and option of non registration.
