Woman dying intestate

A hindu woman XYZ has got some share in her husband's coparcenary property by final decree of court.XYZ has daughter(whom XYZ has given birth to) and a step son.Daughter and step son are from XYZ's same husband. Now,if XYZ dies without making a will,can step son of XYZ get share in XYZ's property? or
will XYZ's entire property be given to her daughter by law excluding her step son?

Hindu Succession Act: Sec 15………….

Section 15(1)(a) included both natural and adopted sons.

Step son and ‘Step daughter’ are not included in the term ‘son’ or ‘daughter’ in section 15(1) and accordingly are not entitled to share in property.
