Hello..
I am having matrimonial dispute with my wife. Is is an advocate, enrolled in the month of JULY, 2011.
I have her details.
She has given wrong information to the BAR COUNCIL before or at the time of registration about her marriage status that she is not married and she is single.
She has concealed that she is married.
Plz. suggest, whether any complaint can be filed regarding this to the BAR COUNCIL. What action(s) can be taken...??

You can give a complaint to the Bar Council of That State.
Only when there is a false information regarding the qualification, it will be viewed seriously.
the marriage information is only a formal information, I dont think the Bar Council will initiate any serious action.

It seems to be small error. However there is no misconduct from the member. Hence complaint may be don't have any merits.

yet! i view it a case of false affidavit that too by an advocate who is supposed to be responsible law abiding citizen and such a conduct is not expected from him.How Bar council will react to it is unknown to me.

I have her Bar council certificate, which she has submitted in court on my request before court. Court asked her to submit her professtional certificate.
