We are tenants protected under Rent Control Act of Maharashtra having tenancy flats in Mumbai ( Andheri-E). We have been paying Rs.250/ per month comprising of basic rent of 125/- + Taxes, common electricity and water charges of Rs.125/-.
Under the consent terms the building is being re developed by the land lords but in the agreement the new rent is not specified. We therefore request experts on this form to indicate the approx. new rent against the old rent of Rs.250/- pm and the way it is worked out so that we are not fleeced by the developers.
