Commercial actvt in residencial flat

I want to know about the act corresponding to the commercial activities performed in residential flats in Gujarat. 

Is it legal to do commercial activities(electronics repairing) in residential flats.

Want know excatly  what is the act to do some part time or full time work (repairing work) at home which dont fall in illegal activity...

Pls rpl ur review if u have any idea.

you may apply for conversion of use from residential to commercial, with the local municipal authorities. However, the Housing society's bye laws should permit this and also the society where the flat is situate

should issue no objectiion

My father has business of TV repairing ....

And most of the day he works for dealers to their shop & some of his own customers in their house...

He works at home for few hours only & sometimes dont work the whole day at home...

He brings TV at home for repairing sometimes....

We have been living in co-operative society at Ahmedabad,Gujarat...

Then, can society member complain for this activity legally?

And what should we do if society come against this work done at home?

Pls rpl...
