aditya (Student) 15 July 2011
Any central law declared unconstitutional by a high court will not affect its operation in other states i.e. act will remain effective in other states, As operation of judgement will remain within the jurisdiction of that High court which delieverd it.
For instance In Case of Naz Foundation v. Govt NCT- which declared Section 377 of IPC 1860 unconstitutional, This means that Section 377 is only uneffective in Delhi and is valid in all other parts of India.
