Yes. If any owner resides outside the society, is it mentioned whether he can be elected or not in the bylaws of the society?

Sir, I understand that there is a Maharashtra Givernment GR on this and the restriction is 5Km. However, I am not getting the same GR.

Under the Model Bylaws, not staying in the Society is not a disqualification to stand as a candidate for election to the Managing Committee.Any Society can disqualify such persons by amendment to the byelaws.
