Fined by court of law???

In 2005, I was taken to police station for drunkenness and nusiance in public. There after my medical was done and I was let to go on surity of bike papers. They called it bail in bail out. After one month I got a call from court to pay a fine of Rs 1000. Now I have to fill a form in which i got to mention whether in my past I have been convicted / fined by court of law / arrested. there wasn't any trail. I wasn't questioned, What kind of case is this.I even never appeared in court.

You were convicted by the court by following the process of summary trial as laid down in the Cr.P.C. Furnish the truth in the form, and the truth is that you have suffered a 'conviction'. If you conceal this and they discover this later, you may be in trouble.
