Flat rental

I have purchased a flat in August 09 in which tenant is staying since Jul 2009 as per the agreement entered between old owner and the tenant. Agreement is valid till jun 2010.

Now If I want to vacate the room before end of agreement that is entered between old owner and the tenant what is the option available? Can I give him legal notice for certail period if mutual understanding doesn't work?

Is old agreement valid since owner has sold the flat to us and there is no new agreement between tenant and me?

The terms of old agreement shall prevail though you have now purchased the house. Go through the retn agreement already executed and find out under which terms, you can get vacated your house prior to the expiry of agreement, however, the caluse of personal necessaity is available which can be agitated before Rent Controller.
