Hi, I wishes to get a gift deed registered. Hindu Undivided family. Mother and two sons.
Property in delhi and pune. Father expired without making will.
1) Mother wants to gift 1/3rd share of hers in delhi house to younger son. Please let me total cost. Duration. Documents required.?
2) Entire house in pune to be gifted to younger son.
Please let me total cost. Duration. Documents required.?
Elder son already compensated by cash to buy another house.

For the registration, the Stamp Duty is payable at the rate of 4% in case of gift to a female and 6% in case of Gift to a Male. The fee of the advocate for preparing and registering the deed will be Rs7,000 to Rs.10,000/-. For more info you may refer to Gift Deed Registration.
