Help

My father bought a land property from a old woman. Now, the old woman's daughters have filed a case claiming that our property should belong to them. But, the property which we purchased, was actually given to the old lady for her life by a local civil court ,after dividing the rest of the property among the daughters. Property belongs to whom now?

Facts are incomplete. Details and case papers are to be examined. Based on your facts the old woman has only life interest so poprietory right vest with daughters. Consult a lawyer with details.

Since there was nobody to take care of the old lady, the court alloted a small portion of land to the lady and divided the rest of the total property among the daughters. This was done in court. Then, the old lady wanted money to live and therefore decided to sell her share of land which we have bought.

Facts are incomplete. Details and case papers are to be examined. The old lady must have to take permission from court. Unless details are not examined no opinion can be given.
