Inherited property and my rights and my sons rights

Hello Everybody,

I am Nitin,i have a property [lands, shops]inherited from my mothers fathers in andhra pradesh,my grand father is not alive [for example] and my mother is alive, and if my son is 21 years and above, does my son has any right on my inherited property?

my father expired when i was very young and so we do not have any property from my father, only my grand father has the property and he gave it to us, will my son get the right on the in-herited property?

Thanks,

Nitin.

If your grandfather (mother's father) died intestate and your mother being the sole legal heir inherited his property, it becomes her own property, which is she had settled on your name by gift deed or settlement deed, it becomes your own property.  In this your son cannot legally claim a share in it and you can dispose it in any manner you may desire to.
