Interlocutory order ... what is it?

Could anybody  enlighten me --

 

1) What is an Interlocutory Order ? Is it open to revision or can appeal be filed against it ?

It means a Interim order that is not final and there would be subsequent orders.

Interlocutoruy means,means not  that decides the cause but which only settles some intervening matter relating to the cause.

Mr. Chadha,

Any order passed during the court proceedings, when the proceedings does arrive at any finality then it is called interlocutory order.  For better opinion you have to tell all the facts.

Int. Or. means an order which does not decide any particular right of a party finally. Like say for eg. a procedural order or an order granting adjournment. A revision does not lie against such an order for appeal, appeal lies only where specifically provided for.
