  • Article 370 stays very much as part of the Constitution and cannot be repealed or abrogated without a constitutional amendment in accordance with Article 368.
  • No such bill was moved by Amit Shah in Parliament today.
  • Section 3 of Article 370 empowers the President to declare the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir under the Article inoperative anytime.
  • President Ram Nath Kovind has signed the official notification declaring provisions of Article 370 inoperative.

Article 370, providing special status temporarily to J & K was promulgated by the President of India without any bill from the Indian Parliament, so it has been abrogated in the same way by the President of India (without a bill from the Parliament) with just a notification. Now, it is known as (1) J & K and (2) Laddakh, administered centrally. Please correct it.

This not correct .That is why one should know historical background  in such cases as every legislation has motives and moods behind them, besides element of controlling the staes; one need to read the Acession Agreement for knowing the reality.

Needs no comments just it otherwise won't make any differnace.
