Legal options for defective product

Respected Sir/Madam,

An online musical instrument company called bajaao has sold me a defective product. As per their policy I have brought the defect to their notice within stipulated days to claim return & refund. I have shared video evidences of the defect as well.

They are just not responding at all. They are not ready to accept the defect. and dont provide any solution.

As a consumer who have received a defective product in online shopping, what are my legal options.

File complaint before District Consumer Commission and claim either replacement of  defective product with new one or refund of price of defective product along with compensation towards mental and physical agony.

Thank you Sir. Just a follow up question. Can I do it myself or should I seek support from Lawyer?

If so what would be the expertise of the Lawyer, like Property expert etc?

You can approach a consumer commission with a complaint for deficiency in service.

You can either file it by yourself or through a lawyer
