NATIONAL FLOOR LEVEL WAGES IS A RECOMMENDATION BY THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT FOR ENACTMENT BY THE STATE GOVERNMENTS. UNITL A STATE GOVERNMENT IMPLEMENTS THE SAME IT IS NOT MANDATORY. A COMPANY, IF IT HAS GOT AN ESTABLISHMENT WITH WORKMEN FALLING UNDER MINIMUM WAGES, HAS TO FOLLOW THE STATE GOVERNMENT NOTIFIED MINIMIM WAGES (BASIC + DA OR SPECIAL ALLOWANCE) AND HRA AS A COMPONENT.
